box1Howdy Peeps!

There are many expressions I'm sure you've heard of using 'box or boxed':

  • all boxed in
  • boxed into a corner
  • Pandora's box
  • Jack in the box
  • think outside the box

Each one has a very different feel to it. All boxed in and boxed into a corner have a feeling of being trapped. Where as Pandora's box is more about something being locked away that we don't want to let out because it may cause havoc.

Jack is the one who pops out of the box and surprise you. I've not been a fan of Jack.

Now, thinking outside the box is very expansive and creative and freeing.

Right now in my life I have a combination. I am feeling 'all boxed in' (literally) yet I am able to 'think outside the box'. I'm in the process of packing up my home and moving cross country.

My home may be filled with boxes, as you can see, but there is an expansiveness that fills my heart and is very freeing. It's an exciting new adventure. 🙂

So when you feel boxed into a corner, think outside the box. Ask a friend for a new perspective or ask a child. Children are amazing in their creative simplicity.

When you don't want Jack to be the surprise, open Pandora's box. There may be some things you don't want to look at (and maybe it's time), but if you know the story, the last thing in the box is hope.

Angel Blessings to you.
