This last week I had a friend, Shari, visiting. It was a marathon of places to go and things to do and wow was it a lot of fun!!!

We were in Out of Africa, in Camp Verde for almost a whole day. It was wonderful seeing how all the staff treated the animals. They were knowledgeable and you could tell how much they all cared about the animals. That was awesome to see.

Hiking Bell Rock in Sedona and watching the sunset at Airport Mesa. A couple of my favorite things to do and share when friends are here.

It was great to see that Oak Creek Canyon was open and we were able to drive on it again. There was some damage from the Slide Fire that we could see. Most of it was much further out of our sight. This is a must drive and see when you’re in the area.

They do a wonderful job of keeping the visitor areas clean and safe for everyone there. And the views just keep on coming.

A little bit of wine tasting in Cornville, AZ ~ who knew there were vineyards in the desert. 🙂

It was a whirlwind week filled with so much fun, laughter and reconnection with a friend I’ve known for 41 years. The awesome thing Shari reminded me of ~ get out and explore and have some fun with friends.

Investigate what wonderful sights are in your own back yard. No matter where you live, there is something beautiful, something wonderful, maybe even something grand. Perhaps you might even want it to be the Grand Canyon, as it is on many peoples’ bucket lists. Having a look round at what the different Grand Canyon tours can offer you, would be a good start to finding the best tour and sightseeing opportunities!

Go explore the scenes where you live. I bet there are more than you realize. Enjoy spending time with friends.

Angel Blessings to you,

Sue
