Hip Hip Horray!! Today is the 21st day of the 21 Day Challenge.

Hopefully all of you have noticed a difference over the last 21 days – a difference in your attitude, a difference with others' attitude, happier meetings, happier days, happier outcomes & outlooks.

Feedback has been positive – watching the waitstaff's energy shift to positive, paying attention to your own energy shift to positive, people appreciating the reminder to look to the positive and to watch the negative thoughts. What I heard the most was 'thank you for the reminder'. 🙂 You are welcome!!

Well, you know, just because it's been 21 days doesn't mean you need to stop with the positive affirmations… Yes, that's right. Keep them up – today, tomorrow — forever!

One thing I've learned over the years that helps keep things like this in the forefront of my mind is teach someone else. And as I'm sure you know, you don't always have to say 'hey, I want to teach you something', you can teach by example. So what about your kids? They're so eager to learn new things. Teach them how to bring positive affirmations into their day at school, their homework or their sports.

Listen to the words they're using. Now that you've been watching the words you use, I'm sure you notice when others are using negative words… Help them reword what they say into a positive affirmation.

Child says: Someone at school is always picking on me.
Positive affirmation: I enjoy spending time with kids at school. The kids at school are nice.

Child says: I always miss the ball when it comes my way.
Positive affirmation: I easily catch the ball OR I easily kick the ball (depending on sport).

You get the idea. So teach someone how to bring affirmations into their lives, whether it be a child, your spouse, a co-worker or your boss. 🙂

Something else to intermingle with your affirmations – gratitude. When you remember to bring positive affirmations into your day, be grateful. When something went right, be grateful. Just add an 'I am grateful' or 'Thank you' to the end of your positive affirmations.

Bringing gratitude to your affirmations – what a great way to start Thankgiving month! 🙂

Thank you for doing the 21 Day Challenge – and keep it up (Dad agrees!!!). Thank you Dad, I am grateful you are still in my life. Angel Blessings to you.
