Howdy Peeps!
I hope everyone had a very nice Holiday!! Now, let's get ready for 2012!!
2011 has been quite the ride! It's had it's ups and downs and all arounds. There's been a lot of changes in my life in 2011 and I look forward to what 2012 has to offer as well.
Going from the corporate world to working out of my home full time has been the biggest change in 2011 for me and I really enjoy it! Each day has different adventures – yes, some days they feel like challenges but you know me, I look for the positive in things.
I've learned so many new things and that really has been a lot of fun. I use my computer much more than I ever did but I truly enjoy working on my website and doing my blog on a regular basis and plan on continuing.
One of my recent adventures, and I must've been a slow learner on this one, is keeping my composure and even being very positive, when frustrated with things and not letting the frustration show or wear me down.
This goes back to some of what I've written about already, but it really is worth repeating. When you are in a situation that you are being pushed to the limit, stop and breathe. And then go out of your way to be nice to someone else or do something nice for another.
Over the last few weeks I have spent several hours on the phone with Customer Service here and Customer Service there. And one was telling me to call the other and back and forth. It really was laughable. So that's what I did. I laughed with the Customer Service Peeps. Even though I was frustrated, I would joke with them and felt I left them in a happier mood than when they started.
Why would you do that? By bringing them up, it brought me up. And really, isn't the world just that much nicer when people are happy? 😉
I'll tell you what though, even though it is the holiday season in Wisconsin, no snow has been a bit strange, but I'm glad this is the only snowman I have to deal with!!
