3x3 spreadA few weeks ago I wrote a blog called Guidance From Your Angels. I gave some reasons why people like to get Angel Card readings.

Today I wanted to explain about some different layouts or spreads. A spread is determined by the guidance you may receive from the Angels as well as how detailed a reading you would like to get. The more cards you use, the more specific the information you get.

A spread can consist of one card to as many cards as you choose to use. I’ll explain a couple of the basic layouts.

One Card. As you’ve seen if you read my blog regularly, I’ll pull an Angel Card every once in a while. It is always amazing how pertinent the information is from just one card.

Another way to use one Angel Card is for your focus of the day, or focus of the week. Doing this on a regular basis may help to shift you to a happier, more joyful place of being.

Past, Present, Future – 3-card spread. Though this is a basic spread, you can get some very beneficial information. The past and future are both near past and near future having to do with your question. And the present is now.

Past, Present, Future – multiples of three with multiple decks. To add more detail to the basic 3-card spread, you can add additional decks and draw from each of the decks for the past, present and future.

You can get much more detailed information this way. The more decks you choose to use, the more details you’ll get.

Something to note for any Past, Present, Future spread. You can use additional cards to add for further into the future as well. It would be past, present, future1, future2, future3, etc. I personally would not recommend going out too far into the future, as we live in an ever changing world.

Weekly spread. This is something Doreen Virtue has been doing for a long time. She pulls three cards, one for the beginning of the week, one card for the middle and one for the end.

Monthly or annual spread. This is a 12-card spread that I have done at the start of each year. I will pull one card for each month, so it’s an overall up-coming year type spread.

You can do a spread for just about anything. You set the intent and that’s how you layout the cards. You can be as creative as you would like (or as creative as your Angel Card reader, like me 🙂 will be).

Angel Blessings to you.
