There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.
~ Aldous Huxley
Why is it that so many people do not feel deserving of success, or deserving in general? And what can we (you) do about it?
- Some may have grown up in an environment where there were others (Mom, Dad, siblings) telling you over and over that you are not deserving.
- Some may have past lives where things happened and it’s engrained in you on some level you don’t deserve – to be successful or happy or joyful.
- Some may have a record playing in their head, in their own voice, repeating they do not deserve.
Whoever and whenever these mistruths have come from, it’s up to you to now release these and change your beliefs. Create a new ‘deserving’ belief system for yourself and embrace it. Embrace it into every area of your life.
Release – Ask Divine Spirit and the Angels to release these mistruths from you.
Give yourself a few moments to either write out the mistruths and then burn the paper or spend a few moments thinking the thoughts. Imagine these thoughts releasing into the air and popping like soap bubbles. As each mistruth thought pops, it’s transmuted to love.
Change your story.
No matter what your ‘story’, you have the power to change it. Rewrite your story (whether it was your childhood or a past life) to something different. Rewrite it to take in the wonderful lessons you’ve learned while also having a lighter time of things. An example would be if you had a brother who teased you about not being deserving, write a new story about your brother encouraging you, assisting you with successes throughout your childhood.
Embrace your truth and live from a place of ‘I deserve’.
Affirmations are helpful with this. Focusing on things you have felt deserving and expanding those feelings to each cell of your body, while sending love. This is a wonderful way to embrace the ‘I deserve’ Truth we all came from — originally.
With today’s date being November 11 (11.11), it’s all about focusing on what you DO want in your life. It’s about focusing on the positive and staying in the positive. Positive thoughts become positive things.
- I deserve success
- I am deserving
- I am successful
- I become more successful with everything I do
- I surround myself with successful people
- I live from a space of deserving
Repeat the affirmations each morning and evening. Repeat them throughout the day each time you think of them. Feel the Truth in your body when you repeat them.
Angel Blessings to you.

You Deserve Success
—-
Admittedly, the word ‘Deserve’ stopped me in my track.
I thought … how can we possible, on the whole, you and me and the billions of other people alive today ‘Deserve’ anything more than we have –whatever that happens to be in this lifetime – and … in the fullness of time … ‘Deserve’ to NOT lose more than we can stand to lose?
Do we deserve success/ the best because we treat unknown strangers, if only in our THOUGHTS, with the same respect and fairness as we would like them to apply to us?
Do we deserve the best because we forgive whole-heartedly?
Like, do we deserve success/the best because we actively love Un-conditionally?
Do we deserve the best because we know how to ask forgiveness directly from the persons we have hurt, offended or deceived – be they the stranger in the street or our colleagues or our acquaintances or our friends or our relative or our — loved ones?
Do we deserve the best because we have resisted the cult of ‘Me-First’, which is closely followed, in our by the cult of ‘Me & Mine First’?

Then, I glanced at the article linked t that headline about Deserving Success.
“Why is it that so many people do not feel deserving of success, or deserving in general?” asks the author.
Ah, that’s better and I think I’ve just now highlighted the answer to this question 😉
“And what can we (you) do about it?” is the 2nd question posed in the article.
I think I’ve also just now highlighted the essential ways in which we can rethink our thinking, therefore rethink our actions and reactions to whatever we ‘think’ has pushed our buttons.
Once that’s been done … slowly – slowly … there might come the day we ‘Deserve’ unconditional LOVE, enduring good health, contentment = aka [genuine] Success.
Thank you for your comments and your questions. More food for thought is always helpful.
Thinking we deserve and knowing we deserve are 2 different things. This is just another part of our journey…
