Do you have a moment to do an experiment with me? It will only take you a couple of minutes. What’s in it for you? Is that what you’re thinking? You may be totally amazed.
Stop what you’re doing – other than reading this of course. Set anything in your hands down. Your full attention will be perfect.
Now, listen. Yes, listen. That's easy, right? What do you hear?
- The refrigerator
- The ceiling fan
- A bird chirping
- The furnace starting up
- Someone in the next room just sighed
- A car go by
- Kids in the backyard playing
- Someone tapping their foot
- Your stomach growling
- A clock ticking
Listen a little bit longer. Are there more things you hear?
- Magical chimes sounding for no apparent reason
- Your heartbeat
- Your blood pulsing in your ears
- The whisper of an Angel or Loved One in your ear
Many times we don’t stop to listen — long enough to hear what’s really important to us.
Please tell me what you heard in your moment in the comments below.
Angel Blessings to you.

Practicing being present and aware is a great idea! Thanks Susanne.
Exactly Louise!
The buzzing of my DVD player that seems to never turn itself back off to standby.
Wow Stacey, that must be so loud it drowns everything else out.
I enjoy taking a moment to listen, several times a day. I keep a few bird feeders in my yard and when it is warm enough I will set and listen and see if I can identify the bird before I see it. I listen to my Chihuahua because he has different barks for different things. I always listen for the whisper of one of my angels. In the past two minutes, my oven sounded to let me know it was at the right temp.My puppy gave a couple of mini barks to let me Know the neighbor came home, I heard the neighbor drive into their driveway and all the time I was hearing the very low buzz of the computer. Any yes, I do have two angels at all times. More if I need them.
