Dear Ones,
Today we speak of breath / breathing.
Take 3-5 minutes to do this. It is much needed for all of you now:
- sit quietly with your eyes closed, feet flat on the floor and hands open setting on each leg
- pay attention to your breathing for a few breaths, not changing it, just noticing
- now put your attention on your breath, breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth, without changing the pace or count of your breaths
- now realize as you breathe in, you are breathing in love, purity, joy, happiness, tranquility, centeredness
- now realize as you breathe out, you are releasing and letting go of all that does not serve you and all that is not for you and for the highest good of all
- continue to do this until your body feels fully relaxed, calm and free from thoughts of worry, stress, aggravation
- when you feel the last of the worries exhaled, continue to breathe normally
- when you are ready, open your eyes
We realize this is very similar to other messages we have given. However, there seems to be more stress and agitation being taken on. This technique is something you can do, you have control over, and you can do as often as you like. We suggest 3-5 minutes in the morning, noon and again at night.
Share this with your children, with your friends and especially with those who seem overly stressed.
Know that when you do this, you are helping yourself as well as others. Your calm, centered love and joy will expand to those around you. Allow this same feeling to go forward into your day and back to days past.
