Dear Ones,
Today we speak of self-care.
Your world is moving fast as are many of you in your lives. You are running from here to there with barely time to take a breath in between.
We wish to express how important it is to allow yourself time to take a break now and again. These breaks do not need to be a month-long vacation, though that would also be beneficial. We are referring to taking time throughout your day for a few minutes of your time.
Here are a few things you can do, that would feed your soul and your body:
- sit down and take a few deep breaths allowing your body to relax
- listen to the sound of a waterfall or ocean waves for a few moments
- take a nap
- sit quietly with a cup of your favorite tea
- stop what you’re doing and notice what your body needs from you [a drink of water, a bite of food, to sit down for a moment]
- listen with your heart to the sounds around you
These are all things to nurture your soul and your physical body. Your world is fast-paced and taking time for yourself is most beneficial.
We are here to assist in any way we can. All you need do is ask.
