I wanted to write a bit about spiders… haha. I’m not crazy about spiders in my house. When they are in the yard, especially if they are beneficial spiders, that’s totally OK, in my opinion. This is a video of an Orb Weaver building it’s web and that’s what I’ve determined are the two spiders / webs I have in the back yard – Orb Weavers.
The first one I saw was half way on the plant and the other half was on the back gate. Well that was fine until the door needed to be opened. I let him know that I had to do it and I then let him know when I was done using the door.
It really is amazing when I watched the video to see how they actually are building their web.
Now, I normally wouldn’t pay too much attention to spiders, as long as they are outside. Here however, in a new location, I am curious about whether it is poisonous or beneficial. This spider (and now a 2nd exact same in different area of back yard), I discovered, is beneficial. So I have been checking on it almost daily, posting pictures on Facebook and keeping an eye out. It’s been very interesting.
So what do spiders tell us? Short answer, spiders are all about creativity, ‘weaving’, what are we weaving our web with in our lives and choices.
When I specifically looked into the Orb Weaver, what really struck me is that the first strand of silk is let out into the wind and allowed to go where it goes. There is a lot of faith and trust that goes into that.
From there, they build upon it.
How does this compare to anything going on in your life? Do you notice spiders (outside) and take note of their webs? Do you notice other insects, birds, animals that come across your path?
Let’s ask the Angels for a message for the other creatures who cross our paths.

Dear Ones,
Your outside world has messages for you no matter what it is you see – an animal, a bird, a traffic jam, a plant… They are specific to you at that particular day and time.
Your outside world is a reflection of your inner world that you may or may not be paying attention to.
Be open to what you see, when you see it and ask yourself ‘what does this have to do with me’ or ‘what is the specific message for me today?’
At times there is an overall message and at times it may be very detailed. It will be specific to you and yet it may have a more generic message for others.
Watch who and what come into your path. Enjoy as the message unfolds.
