In my recent book, Signs From Your Loved Ones, I talk about the sound of chimes being a possible sign from your Loved Ones.
In my house, it certainly is – a sign from either my Loved Ones or Angels. What I notice is the house can be quite quiet and then all of a sudden they will sound.
Now, it does depend on what I have going on or what I'm thinking about or doing. If I'm emailing someone, I'll pay attention to what I was typing. And if I'm talking with someone, these are definitely times I take notice.
Sunday, I was on Skype with a friend. She hears the chimes loud and clear. It was confirmation of what was being discussed.
Later the same day, I was having a conversation with another friend. We were talking about all kinds of things, but she could hear the chimes through the phone and points it out to me. It happened to be an exclamation point for what we were discussing.
Was it her Loved Ones, my Loved Ones, her Angels, my Angels, or all of them? I cannot say for sure, but it also doesn't matter. What does matter, is the chimes sounded and we both got the message.
Monday, I was on a Blog Talk Radio and Jan Revell (the host) and I were doing Angel Card readings for all the callers (you can listen to the archives if you're interested). Several times throughout the radio show the chimes would sound as if on queue!
I refer to these as my magical chimes. I don't always know specifically who it is, but as I said, that's not the most important piece. What I appreciate is that I am getting guidance or confirmation and it's obvious to me.

I adore chimes. I always feel like they give voice to the wind and that the wind has something to say.
As part of my morning ritual, I hung a chime on my bathroom door so that every time I enter or leave, it’s musical like the room is now in harmony. I feel like it sets the tone for cleansing on a multitude of levels.
That’s beautiful Jocelyn. I know when I pass chimes in a store I generally need to hear them so will nudge them just a bit. 🙂
Wow that is pretty cool I don’t have any chimes in my home but I do believe it is God’s way of telling you that you are on the right track. God is always giving you signs but it is up to you to notice them.

How lovely. Now I want some chimes. I’ll have to save up for them or make my own out of bamboo. My beloved black bamboo died this winter during heavy wind, which blew it out of the ground. That would be fitting to use the thickest stalks.
Bamboo chimes are wonderful! I used to have some under my deck and they were an awesome sound and they also didn’t infringe on my neighbors who didn’t seem like the chime type 🙂
