Do you ever feel like you just got ‘sucker punched’ by someone? That’s how I feel right now – energetically and emotionally, not physically. The physical pain would wear off probably pretty quickly. Sometimes the emotional takes a little longer to work through.

  • I feel like the truth has been hidden from me – which just feels like a lie.
  • I feel like the words have only been words – nothing from the heart.
  • I feel so hurt the tears are not ready to come yet.

Have you ever felt like this? Like the rug just got pulled out from under you? Here are some things to get you back on your feet:

Breathe – yes, I’ve said this before and I’m sure I’ll say it again. When we are in the midst of something, we aren’t taking full and complete breaths. Breathing not only brings air into our lungs, it can also help center and calm us.

Write – journal and pour out all the feelings you have swirling around within, no matter what they are. Don’t judge yourself and don’t edit your writing. Or write a letter (not to send).

Walk – get out and go for a walk or a run or do some form of physical activity. This helps get the feelings out of your physical body. It helps move it on out.

Ask – what is your part in the situation – because you were there so you are ‘at fault’ for some part of the sucker punch. Take a long hard look at the role you played and own up to your responsibility.

Allow – everyone is on their own journey. Allow them to be where they are. Send them love and have compassion for them. They may be hurting much more than you could ever imagine.

Thank goodness for the wonderful support of friends, Spirit, the Angels and the wise inner knowing of me. I know what to do, though it does still hurt.

Angel Blessings to you,

Sue
