Howdy Peeps!!

This morning while meditating some thoughts came to me about where our energy goes. Where do we put our energy – to our family, our career, things from our past, fear of the future? Or a knowing deep inside that everything is alright and working out the way it's supposed to?

If you look at your thoughts as energy, where is your energy being spent?

Then I was led to the thought of competition. Many times we feel competitive when we are afraid of something – afraid we aren't good enough, afraid we'll lose something, afraid there won't be enough.

I opened my eyes and opened the book, There is Only Love by Trish Withus, sitting next to me and this is what I read from Archangel Michael:

Breathe deeply my child. Enjoy Love. Enjoy your own Love and share it always. Love yourself, just the way you are. Stop being so competitive.

OK, so we know Archangel Michael was listening to my thoughts! 🙂 Thank you Michael!!

Competition comes from the ego, not Spirit. We as humans, with egos, decide if there's a winner there has to be a loser, and that one is better than the other. What if we are all winners – we each win what we are supposed to. Maybe the prize is experience, maybe the prize is time to spend doing something we love or maybe the prize is time for yourself.

There's a Cherokee Legend that has been coming to mind off and on over the last few days and it came again this morning so I thought I'd share it as well, since it seems to fit right in:

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to thewolf boy.

"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Look at what is going on in your life right now. Where is your energy going, which wolf are you feeding? Is it anger, envy, regret or is it joy, peace, hope and faith? Is it to the competition going on around you or to the knowing that you are where you are supposed to be and winning the prize that is yours and only yours to win?

In the world we live in, there will always be people doing something before us, or getting what we think we want and we may feel like the 'loser', until we 'feed the wolf', the energy that we are all winners, we are all where we are supposed to be, winning the prizes of our lives. And we are just the way we are supposed to be.

Angel Blessings to you!
