Howdy Peeps!
Deep inside us all is our true essence, the treasures we truly are. Many times we forget these and what's really important in life.
A couple of years ago I was receiving a healing session. I want to share with you what I saw and experienced:
There was an old man standing in the desert – by himself. He turned out to be God – waiting for me to acknowledge him and the abundance of gifts that I already have in my life (not material!). And to:
Believe in myself
Believe in God
Be all I can be
We walked down a road where I found a Treasure Chest – in it a note that said 'nothing' or 'no thing'.
I was confused until I realized what it really meant – the material things aren't the 'treasure' within. It's love, health, air, friendship, caring, gratitude, expansiveness, energy, giving, attitude, my intuitive gifts, the Divine, God/Godde/Goddess, peace, harmony, sense of purpose. These are all the treasures!
This has so much meaning on so many levels for me, but I think there is so much that's pertinent to everyone.
- How often do we feel as if we are in the desert and it's baron around us?
- How often do we see and not acknowledge someone important to us?
- How many times do we disregard the treasures inside (seeing nothing/no thing), the treasures we are or the treasures we have to offer
- Do we realize all the treasures we have already received?
This inspired me to create the treasure chest and it's treasures in the picture. It's a reminder for me always of the treasures I am and the treasures I have that can't always be seen.
Here are 3 ideas, that would be fun to do, and will help you remember the 'treasure' you are?
- Gather with a few of your closest friends. Each write a few 'treasure words' about the others on a piece of paper. Then go around the room and everyone share all their wonderful things about each person, one at a time. So each person gets showered with treasures from everyone.
- Remember a time when you felt on top of the world, unstoppable, everything you touched was awesome. Write about it as if you are a reporter, telling the story about you. Put in many details – what you were feeling, the emotions, what was happening. Write up the article and print it out. Put it somewhere you will see it on a regular basis, so it's in front of you often.
- Think of 2 or 3 people you admire. They don't have to be people you know, but they most certainly can be. Write their names at the top of a piece of paper and list 10-20 things you admire about them. It's OK these qualities are listed all together. Once you have the list, go back to the top of the list, cross off their names and write your own. They are a mirror for the things in you that you aren't willing to see, ready to see or able to see. But know that you hold these admirable qualities within you as well.
One other exercise, write a list of all the things you are grateful for that you cannot see. On your mark, get set, go!
Angel Blessings to you!

Always a good reminder to cherish, or treasure, all that we have and all that we are, as opposed to all that we possess.
Yes, and the friendships we make along the way!!
