I’m sure many of you have heard the saying:

Sunday morning I went for a walk. It was a beautiful morning, not too hot, not too cool. There was a nice breeze and the sun was shining.
I notice this beautiful white flower on the side of the road, and then a couple more. Of course I need to stop and take a picture.
As I’m leaning down, I’m noticing all around me, there are more of the same plant. The flowers aren’t out yet, but there are quite a few buds on them, yet to open. I’m being very careful as to where I step.
Who knows what kind of plant this is. And I’m sure some would consider it a weed. It’s all in our perception of what it is and where it’s growing.
Are there things in your life that if you looked at them just a little differently, they would look like the white flower
and not like a weed?
Just for today, look for the good in everything, whether it’s another person, the weather, something you would prefer not to eat, everything. Look at it from the beauty it brings into the world instead of what you don’t want it to be.
Just for today, help another to focus on the beauty of things around them instead of on things that are perceived to be ‘wrong’.
