Dear Ones,

Today we would like to speak about connection. We speak of the connection to everyone, everything, to the web of life, to all that is.

There may be times when you do not feel a part of anything. We would like to gift you with a way to feel connected. The more often you do this, the more connected you will feel and the more often you will feel connected.

  • Close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths.
  • Get very comfortable wherever you are sitting.
  • Here are a few different ways to connect — see which feels best for you:
    • Imagine there is a slight breeze you can feel on your face. As the breeze touches the side of your face, ever so slightly, think of nothing else except the feeling of the breeze. Allow your breath to match the feeling of the breeze as it touches your face and slowly moves past. Allow yourself to not only feel the breeze, but to become the breeze.
    • Imagine you are hearing a noise in the distance — it may be chimes, it may be an engine, it may be a train. Notice the sound and where you notice it in your body. There is a vibration to the sound, just as there is to you. Hear the sound as if it is coming from you, as if you are somehow making the noise. Notice the more you imagine the sound coming from you, you can turn it up or tune it down. Match your breathing to the sound, in harmony to each other.
    • Feel your heart beating. Notice the pace that your heart is beating. Notice if there are any other sounds in your immediate space that is matching to beat the same as your heart or to be in harmony with it.
  • Take a couple of deep breaths and open your eyes whenever you are ready.

You are in sync and connected at all times. Your focus is generally on other things so you are not noticing the connections you truly do have.

Try each of the options to see which you may prefer. Others will come out of you practicing with these.
