We’ve all used make believe in our lives at one time or another. Maybe it’s been a long time since you’ve thought about it, but when we were kids we used it all the time.
I’m sure as an adult you use it as well. Like one of those moments where you look like you are off somewhere else though you are physically sitting here. You are using our imagination, your make believe, to be somewhere else.
We can use it to our advantage. When we are in situations we don’t want to be in, that’s a time to make believe you are somewhere else doing something else.
Or when you want to get your creative mind flowing, make believe. Make believe you’re a kid again and play. Make believe and create a new game. This is great when you're in the midst of something that's really boring. 🙂
With our make believe minds we can be anywhere, do anything.
When you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, close your eyes for a few minutes and got to your favorite make believe spot. When you open your eyes again, though you’ll be back in the situation you started, you’ll be calmer.
Take a few minutes every day to make believe.
Angel Blessings to you.

great reminder! i believe make believe is also a form of play, which is really important in adulthood too. 🙂
Thanks Janet. May your day be filled with fun & games 😉
I do this often. It is freeing, liberating and brings in new thoughts that I wouldn’t of had if not for my imagination.
Yea Shawn. Great to hear.
I love this reminder to retreat to the happy place in my imagination – something I can do any place, any time!
Yes Louise and to grow our future :). Oh, and I’ve used it to ‘change’ the past…
