I love this picture! It was one of the irises I had in my backyard in Madison.
I was looking through some pictures a couple of weeks ago and came across this picture. I immediately posted it on Facebook and I also set it up as the background of one of my screens. I see it multiple times in a day and each time I see it, it makes me smile.
There is such beauty and grace with this particular flower. It has soft curves and looks so delicate. It also has a strength about it that I have seen. Springtime in Madison isn’t always nice gentle rains, it can be northerly winds with some snow or pelting hail mixed in for good measure.
We all have our soft sides and our beauty. And we each have an inner strength we may not even realize until we are in a situation where it is needed.
Strength, beauty, grace – what a powerful trio!
