waterfallHowdy Peeps!

It seems like there is always some reason to rush around, to hurry and do this and hurry up and go here. And then speed up to get this completed.

I've been rushing around lately, trying to get this done or that done. I feel a bit scattered. So I just stop. If you can catch yourself when you're doing this, it's awesome.

I find when I'm rushing, rushing, rushing, I also drop things more, or have to redo things. It's like the Universe knows we need to slow down a bit. Because really, if you have to do something three times, even though you're doing it fast, are you really saving any time? 🙂

I'm sure you know people that feel there's no time to slow down. But here's a secret for you. When you do take the time to stop the rushing around you actually will have more time.

So here's what I recommend when you feel like your behind is on fire and you're rushing to get something accomplished:

  • Stop
  • Sit down or at least stand still
  • Take 3 good deep breaths (in through the nose, hold, out through the mouth)
  • Center yourself by feeling the solidness of the chair or the floor below you
  • Take a drink of water and a bite of something healthy to eat
  • Focus on what you would like to accomplish
  • Start again, one step, one task at a time and when completed, go to the next task

For those of you that still feel there's no time to slow down, here's what you do:

  • Head to the restroom
  • Focus on each step as you go
  • Sit
  • 3 deep breaths
  • Focus intently while washing your hands and then as you dry them
  • As you head back to your desk, step very intently, focusing on each step

And one more secret for us all – change your mantra.

Start saying: There is enough time to get everything accomplished that needs to be.
Quit saying: I never have time, I'm too busy.

Angel Blessings to you.
