Today I wanted to do something a little different so I made a short video. And it's a good thing I'm flexible because for whatever reason the video wouldn't work when I downloaded it to the blog. 🙂
I'm feeling overwhelm today. An overflow of love and gratitude and excitement for what's ahead. I'm also feeling overwhelm on other things, but I'm choosing to focus on the love, gratitude and excitement.
What does that have to do with a 'small world'?
The world seems like a huge place, but it's really a very small world. Wherever you go, the scenery may be different and the people may speak a different language, but they're still people.
There are nice people and grumpy people and those that cut you off in traffic or almost sideswipe you as you're driving down the road.
Getting used to a new environment is all about getting to know the people. Because really, the places are really the same too.
It's a small world because we are all looking for the same thing. To be loved, to be acknowledged, to be valued, to be heard.
Thank the people in your life for what they do and for what they bring you.
- Smile and thank the cashier at the store, especially if she appears grumpy.
- When the waiter comes across gruff, go out of your way to show gratitude and acknowledge him with a smile.
- When the bank teller doesn't even look at you, tell them to have a great day and smile.
The smile, gratitude and acknowledgement may be just what they need. We don't know what is going on in their lives for them to be grumpy or gruff.
Enjoy your beautiful day. Let the love you feel inside, spill over and share it with others you meet along the way!
Angel Blessings to you.
