Dear Ones,

 

Today we speak of ‘balance’. You may think of being ‘in balance’ as being grounded or being centered. These are all good terms.

 

Being balanced is a beneficial thing for you. You may feel we are saying to have the right balance of work, play, home, eat, sleep, etc. These are a part of it as well.

 

What we are referring to is remaining in balance when things are coming at you from all different directions, no matter what they may be and no matter how fast they may be coming.

 

An example of this – imagine you are walking a tightrope. You are concentrating and focused about putting one foot in front of the other. You are very focused and may be tuning out all things around you. 

 

There’s a pole assisting with your balance and you are wearing the proper shoes. You have practiced and practiced. You have prepared and you easily walk from one end of the rope to the other.

 

This is not any different than your day to day life. When you are ‘in balance’:

  • you are in focus and concentrating on what is in front of you
  • you are not paying attention to any of the things or people around you, no matter what they may be throwing at you
  • you have assistance (seen or unseen) that may come in the form of friends, tools (meditation, walking in nature) or your spiritual friends (Guides / Angels / Loved Ones)
  • you are prepared because you put these things into practice each day

The more you are ‘in balance’, the easier it is to remain that way. You won't have the ups and downs of a stress filled day. Remember, we are always here to assist, all you need do is ask.
