During this season, this time of year, many of you take on more stress than usual.
More parties to go to, out of town guests arriving, extra things to take care of and more places to have a plate of food to take. These are all things that add to your already filled life.
We know many of you like to have things just so.
Take time throughout your day to smile. When you catch a glimpse of you in the mirror, smile and relax. Along with the smile, remember to breathe.
This is also a time of year it may be difficult because you feel you ‘lost’ someone. They aren’t lost. They are right there with you, every step of the way. They are watching the hustle and bustle of what’s going on in your life right now. They just aren’t here in the physical to help decorate or make the cookies or wrap presents.
These things will help your days go that much smoother and be much more joy filled:
Breathe – several times throughout your day, pay attention to your breathing. Take a minute, to take a couple of full, deep breaths. On the exhale imagine you are blowing out the stresses of your day and on the inhale imagine you are breathing in love.
Smile – another very simple thing that takes no time at all. When you smile, it will make you feel better and if you smile at another, who knows, you may just have made their day.
Love – send love to your loved ones on the other side and those here as well. Whenever you think of a loved one, imagine you are sending them love, whatever that feels like to you.
Relax – enjoy. It will all turn out as it does. Release the expectations that it ‘has to be’ this way or that.
