I pulled this card from the Well-Being deck*.
It’s a perfect card for me to have pulled today. How many times are we in situations where we aren’t joyful and happy and we start to focus on the things we don’t want in our lives.
The Teachings of Abraham is all about focusing on what you DO WANT.
When we are in a situation that is ‘less than’, look for the positive things about it. There is always something to be positive about. And if you’re in a situation with kids, you can make a game of it and see who can come up with the most positive things about the situation.
If you cannot see anything positive, ask someone else what they can come up with.
The Universe is more than happy to bring things into our lives that we ask for. If we are so focused on ‘this horrible situation’, what do you think the Universe will bring you? Yes, more horrible situations. After all, you asked for it.
If you focus on the light, the positive things, that’s what the Universe is more than happy to bring you more of.
Watch your words as you see the positive. What I mean by that is, if you say ‘it’s a beautiful day but it's too windy’ it’s as if you are discounting the beautiful day – as well as asking for more wind. Focus on the beautiful day and forget about the wind. Or add something positive about the wind – it’s clearing out the old and bringing in the new, or the wind is refreshing.
See the positive in everything you do, everyone you meet, everywhere you go. It raises our vibration and we automatically feel lighter.
